Looks like my ooooolddddd ARB push button locker switches may be intermittently making contact.

    I spoke with their tech help and got these numbers;

    compressor-180222SP
    front-180223SP
    rear-180224SP

Do members here have preferred dealers to buy from? I hesitate to use 4w Parts as they are terrible about answering their phone and rarely follow up.

Honestly I don't like the plastic illuminated ARB rocker style rocker switches. I always use weather proof toggle switches instead. It adds a bit more to the cost, but I like regular metal toggle switches better. This was for my TJ, made a block-off plate where the stereo used to go:

Those switches are just Carling Contura with ARB's actuator. You can get a new switch for $6-7 and put your old actuators on them. You should be able to find the proper switch at Waytek.

I bought a bunch of surplus switches from Burden Surplus Sales a few years back for about $1 ea and just changed out the actuators. I actually like that style switch.
Mine ended up mounted in a 6 place bracket front and center in the 3B. No fumbling around, eyes off the trail like the **#!*# JK.

I have no idea what Carling Contura is or an actuator with regards to the ARB switches is.

The actuator is just the snap-on embossed plastic toggle and they are interchangeable on most of the actual switch bodies. Take a close look at your existing switches and compare them to the items in that Waytek link. The ARB switches are just single pole single throw (SPST) switches. This should be the one: https://www.waytekwire.com/item/44305/Carling-Technologies-V1D1B60B-00000-000-1-Light-/

An example of one of many actuator configurations available:

I think those are rocker switches?

Mine currently are push on, push off. So I'd likely have to buy everything.

I'm surprised no one else has offered where they buy ARB parts.

If you can find the actual ARB part numbers, both Summit and Quadratec carry ARB parts. That said, if you are just searching either of those sites for the part without a number, you will likely become VERY frustrated. BTDT I suspect you will find those push button switches have been superseded. There are a number of push button switches out there. These would likely work: https://www.waytekwire.com/item/44102/OptiFuse-R13-527C2-02-Waterproof-Round/

Yeah, I have the part numbers. Listed them in my first post.
Yes, the push button switches have long since been superceded.
Thanks for the two vendor ideas.

    How about ARBUSA?
    https://arbusa.com/

They have a dealer locator service. That’s how I found the local dealer to order my OME springs from.

When I worked at ARB in tech we had a pdf diagram how to convert the old harness to accept the new rocker switches. Under new manangement, I'm sure all that old tech has been lost unfortunately. We're a dealer here at Mule Expedition Outfitters in WA. I can help if needed.

Pulling them up in the system, looks like those run $24 ea from ARB. We do a weekly pick up of parts from ARB every Wednesday. We don't stock them

I was able to buy the switches, rockers and wiring harnesses from Mudrak Custom Cruisers in Sonoma CA. A Toyota FJ shop predominantly but we all speak 4wd and dirt.

No worries. Mudrak is a good shop. I dealt with Gary quite a bit in my tech days. Mudrak is actually his last name spelled backwards. lol

They seem to be heavy Rubicon & Sierra trails participants.
