    1967 CJ6
    225 V6
    Dana 44s from a 78 Wagoneer
    Holbrook Long Leaf springs
    SM420 Transmission
    D18 Twin Stick
    Warn Overdrive
    Tom Woods driveshafts
Advance Adapters Chain Control Clutch Linkage
Dual Master Cylinder Brakes from Herm
    Novak headers
    Saginaw power steering
Corbeau Moab seats with 3-point harnesses

Original engine (somewhat rebuilt), body, frame, gas tank. Not much else. This jeep never had doors or a top.

I've owned this jeep for 20 years. Never really worked on it until I retired last year. Still a bit of work to get it on the road.

NOTE: I have a new-ish login because I couldn't get into my old 1x1_Speed_Craig account that I've had here for years. I'm working with mods on getting back into that account.

I'll add my new purchase to the list. I just bought it, and just booked a transport guy yesterday. I should hopefully have it sometime next week.

We've been a 1-vehicle family for the last 6 months. That arrangement works just fine since I work part-time from home, but I wanted something to kick around town, use on our property, and explore around East Tennessee. This should fit the bill nicely once I shake out any mechanical quirks.

    1971 CJ-6
    Dauntless V6, T-14, D-18, Dana 27/Dana 44 (flanged, hopefully)
    Vintage Ramsey electric winch (works)
Retired from an Ohio volunteer fire department, which they've had since it was new
    5,800 original miles

Video Here (made by the guy I bought it from)

    Immediate plans:
Install full Bestop Tigertop soft top & doors (already ordered, and en route)
Tune-up, front disc conversion, and anything related to basic road-worthiness
Potentially re-work the crazy-large bumpers to improve weight, and approach/departure angles if I can't find a utilitarian reason to keep them

    Longer-term plans:
Correctly fix the rear floor pan (fire department fixed rust under the prior foam tank w/plywood, fiberglass & bedliner)
Drive, and preserve/enhance original, vintage look
Add basic recovery gear, organized storage, etc.
Design for flexible/versatile/convertible outfitting for exploring around the area, implement/home mini-farm use, etc.

They 100% suck to install, but it's the only thing available. I had to modify every bow and door surround to make it fit remotely well. There was some trial and error involved for sure and it seems to be the story from most others who have installed one too. Just be aware.

Thanks...good to know. The only experience I have is installing a full STC soft top on a Scrambler. A solid apples-to-avocados comparison, I know.

Hey CraigE aka 1x1 speed Craig. I think I bought a Honda 50 from you about 15 or 16 years ago. Plus two windshield frames. Just retired the black one I bought from you. Welcome back. I’m remembering the good ole days on Great Lakes 4x4! Nice looking 6 by the way

Nice! Good to reconnect after all these years. My CJ parting out days are long gone; now I'm just looking for a good CJ driver to enjoy. I hope the Honda 50 gave your kid(s) years of fun!
