Yep, the IH 152 makes a little more power than an F head but a Scout is heavier too.
    My Scout had a Chevy 327 :D

That sticker makes no sense on this Scout. It's for an aftermarket D20 twin stick conversion but from the pictures, this definitely has the proper D18 in it. It's not physically possible to have the front and rear in different ratios with a D18. There is only one sliding gear for high/low range the the 2wd/4wd lever simply locks the front yoke to the rear yoke. If the rear is in low, the front is in low.

Here's where they bought the sticker and it explicitly says D20: https://www.scoutcoproducts.com/dana-20-twin-stick-transfer-case-decal

For all the attention to detail on the rest of the rig, it's an odd oversight.

Why does it have access to the passenger fuel tank pick-up but not the driver side?

I know a restoration costs big bucks, especially if a shop is doing all the work, and this Scout is really nice, but how do you justify this kind of money for this vehicle? $40K for a 152 slant 4 powered Scout, and it didn’t even meet reserve? To me, 25K would be tops, if I had to have one.

BaT wouldn't take my 60 Wagon in my avatar unless I went no reserve. I asked for a 20 k , they said no.
And while I like that old Scout; where could you actually drive it?
At least my 226 with overdrive will do 60...
