Looking at a rear disc conversion and I’m trying to identify a source for the brake caliper brackets to bolt up to my rear D44, which has the uneven bolt patten on the flange/backing plate.
    Appreciate any guidance.

Look up Brennen’s Garage for brackets.

You can redrill the 1/2 ton chevy brackets and I recall some steel plates for s-10 /eldorado brackets that weld to the tube.

"D44, which has the uneven bolt patten on the flange/backing plate."

Is this a flanged axle D44 or does it have the tapered axle / hub ?

The brennan track-kick brackets will not work on the 1pc flanged dana 44's

Thanks for the reply’s - Confirm 1 piece flanged D44 rear and I looked at Brennans brackets and they won’t fit. The bracket needs to drop over the axle near the diff housing then slide up to the flange where it’s thicker and bolt up via the uneven bolt holes. I did see a post somewhere and the guy had 3d printed a mock up, but I can’t find the post.

They work fine. I have them on both a two piece D44 and a flanged D44. On a 2 piece D44, I had to cut the the center out of the original backing plate to use as a spacer in order for the seal to ride on the hub properly.

I have 1-piece flanged axles, but some kind of odd-ball brake backing plates. I finally gave up trying to figure out why my brake plates were different than everyone else's in a '74 CJ, so cut out the centers also. Now on to assembly.
