You can see weather cracks on the sidewall. Other than on a museum Jeep, those tires appear to be less than worthless.

I don't, I have steel wheels. Tried for new wheels and tire at tire rack, but they "don't have anything that fits '68 cj5". I like that style of wheel

Definitely a good looking wheel. I'd negotiate for just the wheels, maybe they'll throw in the tires for free!

.......... I sold the very same wheels with good Wrangler AT's for $600 , 2 years ago. The buyer did powdercoat my KH's for free, though . :)

I don't like 12.5 wide tires on early jeeps. Too wide and too much floatation. I prefer 10.5 wide for around here. Of course different areas require different tires.

Me too. 10.5 looks good on a CJ5 and works well.

I’m pretty sure those are steel wheels. They look like chrome aftermarket, at least 8” x 15, but more likely 10” x 15. The 12.50 tires fill out real nice on 10” wide rims. 10” steel rims can end up pretty heavy.
You can likely buy new tires and rims for that kind of asking price. Tires age, and anything driven at road speed that I have will be no more than about 8 years old. If used as a trail rig, you can get away with running older tires.

Tire rack does, don't search by vehicle search by size. You want to look for a rim with a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. 15" is a very common rim diameter, 7"-8" is a very common width wheel for CJ's. So the wheels are listed diameter, width, and bolt pattern 15x7 5.5x5.5. There are other considerations like offset and backspace. But the above will show you different styles. I wheel :) say that 15" rim selection is getting smaller and smaller.

And center-hole diameter for a Jeep.
