I am ready to work on the tub of a 1974 cj6 to finish my jeep. I picked the jeep up almost 15 years ago and tore it apart. Three years ago, I completed the rolling chassis with a running engine.

I have been inspecting the body to see what it will take to get it ready to paint. It has been on it's side in the garage all these years. There is no floor behind the seats. The wheelboxes are shot. The rest needs a lot of patching. First I plan on sandblasting the entire tub. Then I will have to get parts before I remove anything.

Looking at the parts and service manuals, I am not able to figure out where some of the repair/ replacement panels are positioned. I have a big opening at the rear.

I am looking into sandblasting myself to save some money.

Does anyone have pictures of the bottom of the tub, especially the rear floor / bumper area?

I will post pictures of my tub later.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thank you for the pictures.

What piece of sheet metal is at the rear of the floor by the bumper?

Classic enterprises has 4 "rear floor diagonal braces". I can only guess where they are positioned.

Are the beads in the 20" filler section the same length and profile as the toolbox lid?
