283 Chevy with T90. I'm using a 61 to 64 Ford crossflow, reworked to fit the Chevy inlet and outlet. Never had a problem.

Nick is running a 304 raditor with a 350 vette motor and a manual that had the outlet blocked and moved , he says it does good.

I'm currently researching this. You can get a 3 core radiator new for about $200ish on the 'net that is a jeep radiator built for a chevy motor.

Crossflo w/a 16" electric spal fan, keeps my 350 cool in the desert running the sand dunes.Thats about as extreme as it gets for a radiator task.

Universal aluminum crossflow with owner welded flanges from Speedway motors; electric fan only, runs so cool my heater doen't work very well any more.

My brother has a 454 Chevelle radiator that has been recored with a forklift 5 row industrial core. And for the fans he has a 1" flex fan and the motor and uses a 12" electric pusher in the grill.

    You have a thermostat problem

Who? Me? :? No I just changed the thermostate. I run at 195 degrees. My electric fans come on at 200 degrees and shut off at 195. That's why my fans never came on. I didn't get up to 200 degrees.:)

i found that a '65/'66 ford mustang radiator is close to the identical dimensions of the original F head radiator. it is available in 2 and 3 core, steel or aluminum and is relatively cheap as there is a good demand for these from mustang owners.

I am using the new Spal variable speed controler. It was only slightly more expensive than the other controls and it uses the factory sensor rather than one that sticks into the radiator fins. Suitable for mounting in the engine compartment, adjustable setpoints, easy to program. I like it.

I've got a 383 stroker in a `62, what I found works and is cheap is this!

The 19 H x 22w @ $129.95 will fit between the headlight buckets, after cutting off the shroud. I moved 800 miles last summer and drove it(had to go to the doctor for a bad back afterwards). Well, I have a 180* thermostat and that baby never got to 200*, with a 4.56 gears at 65 mph. I also have a steel 15 inch fan from there also, no electrics and no shroud the fan is spaced 3 inches away with a short water pump. I used one inch square tubing for a hoop to mount the radiator with and brace the now thin grille.

The only thing I did different is that is a made for race cars and don't have a petcock at the bottom, I had the local speed shop weld in a petcock bung on the lower left for easy draining.
