My 67 CJ5 build

    Had a photo made and hung in the shop for some inspiration

    Focused today on plugging the unwanted holes in the firewall.

    I am sooo tired of welding and grinding so I laid down some fiberglass today

    I didn't want to use wood like the factory did in the spare tire hat channel so I bought one of those real dense plastic cutting boards to cut and use

    Just going to start going around 1 corner at a time, fixing welds, bondo glass then bondo

    Some progress today, using bondo glass for the rough spots then plain filler to clean it up

    How I fixed the after market tail light panel being shorter than side panel

    The side panel was a bit wavy probably from all the welding so out with the fiberglass......what a pain to sand

    I usually grind the first coat with a flexy disk.
