Not being one to make excuses, I'll say this over the last year I've only been able to sneak out to the shop about once a month a best... and due to a couple of job changes money has been beyond tight. BUT I did GRADUALLY acquire everything I needed to get my drivetrain rebuilt and we got it back in the jeep on Tuesday night...

The pace will still be slower than a lot of build threads but I'm having as much fun as time and money will allow

Keep going. I'm right behind you, working on a 62. My motor is done and now working through the tranny and T Case. Frame is all set as is axles and suspension. I am going to catch up to you if you don't get going. But, I have not gotten to start the tub yet, its still at the blasters, but getting it back, maybe Monday.

Don't feel bad... I've been working on mine since 2013... I'm not even the longest by far...

From the vinyl days... Warren Zevon 'Excitable Boy' album. Slide out the album, and this is the inner sleeve.

Had several S&W back in the day. Always issues with the trigger pull for some reason. Nowadays it's Kimber and Browning semi's. Roland would be proud (if he could find his head).

Didn't realize the vinyl part. Looks like an N frame target model.

That offset is normal, the rear driveshaft does not run exactly parallel to the frame.
