Damper Interchange

Hi Guy's i been offered a complete amc 360 from a waggy. It has the triple groove pulley on the crank and water pump.

The question is simple, on my 360 i have a 3 bolt damper with a 2 groove pulley. Can i take the 4 bolt damper and put it on my engine so i can use the tripple groove pulley?

I would think so, as long as the faces of all the pulleys line up. I think I read your question right ?

 

Engine is from a 1989 wagonneer...

 

I think the crank bolt and nose is the same, but I would not bet my life on it. Try searching/asking on the Wagoneer sites (www.ifsja.org or www.fsjnetwork.com), or the AMC car sites.

but for what i already found amc v8 crank interchange between 1972 and 1991.

Anyway i paid 50 box for the whole set of pulley and the damper.
