Parking Brake Retracting Spring

    I crawled under and at some point I can see the exhaust was replaced and the muffler is not in the correct spot. So the hole in the cross member is covered up and would be in the way of that mounting. The plan was to replace the exhaust anyways. I'm guessing sooner than later. For now I guess I'll just hook it on the body lip. The one I got from Walcks seems a bit short to reach that but then who knows that spring might not be the original.

    The Walcks spring is ridiculously strong...too strong in my opinion. Even with the proper extender link and yoke clip, I can barely pull the brake handle without feeling like something is going to break. I went with a Hillman #64 spring; much better and seems appropriate for the application.
