Recently I went from Detroit to Seattle in about 4.5 hours. Had a comfortable seat and I got a free snack box. Didn't even need to stop for gas.

    Just gotta say,
    Pathetic.
Another "look at me and my imaginary hardship" accomplishment. The biggest accomplishment in the entire article is the ability to get a non EPA compliant vehicle with no safety features a license plate and insurance.

Back in 66, my mother, aunt, and myself drove from NY to Fla and back in a 61 bug.

In the early 70's, my family drove cross country twice (3000 miles) in our old 63 Rambler classic. OOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo, how ever did we do that?

I purchased my 71CJ in Feb 83, installed a roof, and promptly drove 1500 miles to Ft Campbell KY in the winter. Alone!! Had to scrape the ice off the windshield crossing the Nevada desert. OMG!!!!! RUNNING WITH SCISSORS!

I think this article reflects the "everybody gets an award" and "look at me" mentality of today's society.

Pretty sure there is probably a manbun under that metrosexual cap he wears.

And that beard. Social statement... or desperate cry for help?

I think it's probably more of a thinly veiled advertisement for Roxor, rather than a "look at what I did" article. Like someone previously said, I think the real impressive part of the article is that you can get a "new" Indian Jeep cj5/cj7, with a diesel drivetrain, and make it street legal with today's EPA climate.

So I did shy of a couple hundred miles the other night. Bitter cold. Very windy for the area. I have the original model heater and defrost, and the extended top soft enclosure. It was cold cold in there. Full cone of breath cold. I wasn’t super bundled up, but I will be next time I gotta trek out in -40 wind chill.

Besides overrunning the ability to heat the cabin, the Rox did well lol

I do not have a grill blocker. That might have helped.

Check the firewall for air penetration.

My '88 YJ had a "cold air duct" in the steering column housing. I duct taped that and the cabin got a lot warmer.
