Funny you say, but my brain kept grinding on this and I realized until the vehicle weight is on the axle, this could be reducing the added leeway I perceived when measuring rode and ends. Im going to hold of on ordering rods until the vehicle is sitting on the axle un-supported.

Thanks. Most of my mechanical experience is limited to brakes, carbs, and suspension. A complete axle replacement is totally out of my skill-set....so.....Im not as quick and knowledgeable as the rest of you senior members.

Did I miss the tire size you bought?

And the Dana 27 is like what....50" WMS to WMS? So the Rotor axle is just slightly wider than a NT Dana 30 ( 53" ?). Seems like a smart swap to me. My only concern might be long parts availability. But if the parts are available through Dana directly and not a Roxor dealer only, it should be a non issue.

I'll have to look back through the Roxor stuff. Curious about axle tube thickness and other strength related things.

Did you happen to check the pinion angle for the Roxor vs stock D27?

mahindra is the biggest tractor people on the planet, i wouldnt be too concerned about parts availabilty on their roxor.

Not sure that equates. John Deere is huge too, but with a million individual different models, the parts inventory is not guaranteed.

Nothing is guaranteed. But I wouldn't base any decisions on lack of Parts availability. it's not like buying a tao tao 4 wheeler and expecting parts availability in a year.

I agree and it is a Dana. They are not going any where. I can not see Dana running special part for the axle, there would not be enough axle built for the Roxor to do specified parts.

  13. so is the axle actually built by dana?

All true. Dana stuff should be readily available. I guess I based my concern on experiences with the Unimog we have at work. Mercedes Benz right. But when Unimog pulled out of the US market because they couldn't meet environmental restrictions, we couldn't get anything for the truck. Took 4 months to get coil springs for it. Still can't replacement parts for it in a timely manner. Just hoping something similar doesn't happen with ROXOR.

Yep, totally understand, 2009 C-7500 8.1 gas engine, the gas tank is mounted behind the left front tire, all the ''juice" that is put on the roads has eaten a hole in the gas tank.
Call the dealership, hey I need a gas tank, and fuel pump module for this truck.......
Welp, we have a fuel tank, insulators, straps and nuts but the fuel pump module is NLA.....
    Just giving an example .......

Nope. Still waiting on spring plates and u bolts from roxor. Called the dealer yesterday and still nothing in.

The longer 14” hoses arrived and got installed though, as OEM CJ were a bit too short. Bleeder tool arrives this week. Also put gear oil in the pumpkin.

Tie rods are threaded, but alignment goes out if I thread them any deeper. Once the axle is bolted in, I hope the vehicle weight will give me a little more ability to thread them in and get an alignment. If not, I will order the heavy duty linkage from Herm.

I wish I could get the oil pain drain bolt to stop leaking. I need to source a crush washer on the next oil change.

I may have missed it but standard Dana 44 plates and bolts are not the correct size?

I ordered plates for a jeep truck rear axle which is a Dana 44. The bolts and plates were not wide enough to fit over the axle diameter

Don’t know if you have it available in your area, but where I live there are a few heavy truck spring shops that will make ubolts to any spec while you wait.
Won’t the Roxor have wider leaf springs than yours which make the holes too far apart on the roxor spring plates?
Thanks for being the guinea pig on this one!
