I'm getting ready to replace an older crush-bend 2" dual exhaust (with cheap turbo mufflers) on the Jeep with a single 2-1/4" mandrel bent system. I have searched and found that some folks here are using MagnaFlow mufflers. Does anyone have a video of how their V6 sounds with a MagnaFlow?

    4.3ltr V-6 or the Dauntless V-6?

My 4.3 with a single exhaust and one MagnaFlow muffler.

I know its not a Magna Flow, but this is a 2-1/4 single exhaust on a Dauntless v6 with a Walker Quiet Flow SS.

Same exhaust system, just out in an open field.
    It's really quiet in person.

Your rig has a nice exhaust, , it’s pleasant and not at all annoyingly loud.

I tried these mufflers, and unless you have a full length exhaust, the sound was load and unpleasant. They now live in the second floor of the shop until I fund another use...a lot of money wasted.

I opted for a set of turbo mufflers that fit an early 70's Cadillac and full length pipe to the rear of my little cj2a truck conversion. Sound is pleasant with a little rumble.

I have headers, so might not be a fair comparison.

I don't know about the Magnaflow, but I've got a single Flowmaster Series 40 on my stock dauntless, with Cast Iron Manifolds. 2-1/2" exhaust I think (I didn't build it, paid an exhaust shop to do it), exiting right behind the drivers side tire.

It's not hideously loud, but if you're sensitive to exhaust volume, it's probably louder than you'd want. It doesn't bother *me* but I've had other people ride on my Jeep since having this exhaust done, that it's got the Flowmaster Drone when cruising. I can't hear it, but that could be because I'm just deaf.
