I'm Trying To Identify An Old Trailer I Just Bought.

I drove by it a few times and just couldn't let it alone, so I bought it for $100 and pulled it out of a sheep field.

It is a factory built trailer but with no mfg tag or holes where one might have been. It's not a Ben-Hur or David Bradley and I have found no other pictures of any exactly like it. And yes they are factory made fenders, this one is a little bent.



The angle bracket on the bottom and side support bracket were added later I believe.


The angle brackets going to the tongue looked to have been added later also.



It has one henge going all the way across.



The top lip is only 1 inch wide, as Ben-Hur's look to 1 1/2 inch wide.


No rust through anywhere. The shackle mounts and fenders have square head nuts on them. It was originally red and had baby moon hub caps and the wheels have 3 pin stripes around the center. I love the Firestone whitewalls with retread mud tires, they only had 1 or 2 pounds of air in the tires when I pulled it home with no sag in them. They are pretty cracked but I'm gonna leave them on for a while. I like the patina so a little hosing off the dirt and enjoy.

 

No clue, but that looks like a screaming deal for $100
