Somehow the cap attached to a propane bottle?
I'm seriously asking as I like your reservoir better than the $$ one I bought.

    nickmil In mothballs.

If one doesn’t like the Wilwood reservoirs, GM (and I’m sure others) hydraulic clutch reservoirs work well also. Compact and designed for DOT 3/4 brake fluid.

That involved some appropriately diametered muffler moly , a form, heat wrench & careful hammering followed up by some quality time with my favourite file & a dab of solder.

I was not kidding about all the work

Clutch res also works well as a remote fill for the stock master cylinder. Just drill n tap the vent hole

You can also fab one out of round or square tube stock. Weld the piece together and tap for fittings and cap. Polish/paint to your desire.

I don't have pics, but it built one to replace the clutch reservoir on my Granddad's old Farmall Tractor. Made it out of a piece of 4" steel pipe. Granddad had me put a screw cap from (insert some old piece of farm equipment here) on it as he never threw anything away. We tapped it for the fittings (pipe to tube adaptor used) - I welded some nuts on it for the mounting bolts and it worked fine for many years. Still does as far as I know - my cousin has the tractor now.

I bet I could print a remote reservoir...

My biggest concern is heat and chemical properties of the brake fluid vs PETG. It might work for only one type of fluid.

One "he modified" or as we called it "Harvey-ed" since his name was Harvey :D. The remote res fed several things he 'rigged'... Living through the Depression and WWII as a farmer, he rigged TONS of stuff and built things out at the farm. We even had a home built lathe and mill with parts that came from combines, elevators, and who knows what other farm implements.

While it was 'confusing' to work on things - I learned more ways to fab things and think outside the box in the two weeks every summer I spent down there growing up. I still fix stuff down there since my Mom lives on the farm still.

In doing the research to make my 4 wheel disc brakes more efficient I learned way too much about a balanced brake system. You have to have the correct piston diameter in the master cylinder to work correctly with your front and rear disc brakes. Mine will be a 1 1/8" piston diameter. You have to know what pedal ratio you have in your jeep. Mine is about 5.2:1 The My front caliper piston diameter is 2.80" so I need the rear caliper piston diameter to be 2.0" to be balanced front to rear. I will let you know how all this mumbo jumbo works once I get the parts I need and installed. Proof is in the pudding. Wish me luck.

Made a mistake on my above statement. 1 1/8" bore is if you have a master cylinder and a power boost. I will need to use a 1" or 7/8" bore in the master cylinder.

1985 rear calipers from a cadillac eldorado at 2.125" and use the 7/8" rotors.

    Done

No problem, at one point I was going to use 7/8" rotors front and rear with dual piston s10 calipers front and the eldorado rears.
Cost and availability at the time pushed me to 4 k10 calipers and the thicker rotors with a stepped bore master cylinder.

I am going to put a corvette style master cylinder with the 1 1/8" bore. I hope it fits down in the frame. It is for disc/disc manual brakes.

They are both sides and they give you plugs for the side you don't use.
