Saggy Steering Gear Question

    This is for sale locally....wondering if it might be good for my CJ...manual and all

    Seller hasn't provided much additional info, other than suggesting it's for a 3/4 ton p/u. I'd guess it's basically this one from RH site?

    I believe that box is designed to mount outside of the frame rail and or be used in a RHD postal vehicle.

    That’s a push/pull box from a Chevy truck. (The arm moves front/back and connects to the DS knuckle.) The pitman arm doesn’t use the same splined connection that we’re used to with jeeps. The rotation should be correct, but it might be hard to find a pitman arm that’s clocked correctly. And as stated, it would need to be mounted outside the frame rail (and in front of the axle).
