Rear Gas Tank Filler Neck

    Does anyone have a source for the rear fuel neck for a 1970-1975 cj? Ive already posted a "wanted" add in the classified section.

    I would try the jeep scrapyards......like Scotty's down here and, hmmm, can't remember the name but there's one in the Sacramento area

    There are others that advertise in the back of the magazines. Have you checked the "where to buy parts" sticky? Lots of possible sources there as well.

    When I put the rear tank in mine I used the stock filler hose and a junkyard filler neck from a Ford Ranger.

    There's no source for the filler neck other than a wreck, AFAIK. The rubber hose that goes from the filler to the tank is available.

    Yah that is the elusive 70-75 fillet neck...I was looking for one a month or so ago and ended up finding a used one one for the price of nos:)
