    Inside the shop....

The cement mixer is going away...
Overall I'm really excited... We've been living in a tiny house in town for 8 years and it's just gotten worse in town. Now we'll be about 15 minutes out of town on a dead end dirt road... Perfect.

Focker That's a terrible idea...What time? Staff Member

Here's my buddy's Unimog he had shipped over from Germany.

Before...The panels fold down and become a platform to stand on while you get tools.

    This side is amazing...

I can't even list everything he did to it... Custom light bars, steps and ladders etc. He did all the work except for the paint.

    After...

Daaaang that's pretty cool... I looked at tons of different trucks, my wife would also like a newer style Doka, but I just can't afford one like that right now, maybe in a couple years...

Wow! What an update, soo much good going on.

I love that portal axle in the museum pic. Need to pick up a few of those for our Jeeps.

Okay that makes my excuses for the slow progress on my project look pretty weak.
I am incredibly jealous over your Unimog find! I have always wanted one and yours looks to be the perfect size! :bananatool:

    Bowbender I'm workin' on it!

When we were dating, my only wheels was 51 Willys pickup, she married me anyways. Makes her pretty cool in my book, maybe not Unimog cool but I had never even heard of a Unimog back then.

My Dad had a 1950 Ford F1 when he met my mom, she liked his old truck. Lime green with a purple bed...

A few more random pictures from Germany.

That's full size stuff there... I believe there was 3 Sherman tanks and 2 Panthers, and a whole bunch more... Fw190 and a F104 Starfighter hanging from the ceiling
    [IMG]
There was a bunch of Tanks outside too...
Street legal quads are a thing over there... Including converting the big adventure bikes like KTM 1190 Adventure bikes...
Mountain Carts... Hand brake on each side of the handlebars... The ski areas run the lifts during the summer for hikers and these are the fast way to get down the hill... No motors, no pedals, just gravity. Lots of fun.

We've gotten all moved into our new home and out of the shop I was renting in town...[IMG]
Been managing to get stuff situated and organized...
Tested out the wood stove in the shop a couple times already.[IMG]
Even have enough room for my dad's new project M38A1...
The Unimog just barely fits into the shop...
I've managed to get the Unimog mostly road ready, the only thing I really need to do is install some seat belts... [IMG]
Even done a bit of driver's training in the Mog... Everybody that comes out for a visit gets a ride and I'll let them drive around the field if they want...
I've also been keeping busy with projects around the house, building fences and relocating the hot water heater heater has been the latest... We just need to finish painting our daughters bedroom and I can get the rest of the stuff out of the shop, and into the house. Then I can start thinking about working on the Jeep's and stuff in the shop...
Thanks for checking it all out. Laters

I'm getting there... I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my daughter's room so we can move her into it. That'll get the last of the house stuff out of the shop... Then I can start planning on doing some fun work...

Finally gotten my daughter's room done... That allowed me to move all the stuff out of the shop that didn't belong... Spread the rigs out in the shop a little... Time to get to work
