It's just a hat shaped thing where the hose attaches to the grill. There is a slightly larger than 1/8" mesh sandwiched in between:

The hose is held on with the same type of hose clamp used on the heater end:

Hat shaped! I suck at proof reading my posts. I edited it to fix.

What bolts to this hole on the side of F134. Right side, middle of the block and tapped for 3/8’s NC bolt. The engine is in my ‘64 CJ5

That was for a support bracket used by the 6 volt starters.

These were riveted to the rear bumper of my ‘64 CJ5. Looks like they had more to them that was flame cut from them. Maybe another piece of the bumper. Any ideas?

Those look home-made to me. The Tuxes had something similar, but even simpler.

    What the heck is this?
I think I have an early 70s dana30. The other side had the typical 31 mm nuts. This looks like you are supposed to use a center punch to turn this (nut?). I tried that, but it didn’t move does not seem to be any type of snap ring or visible nut. How do I remove it?

Some other manufactures use a similar style. You need to make sure their isn't a set screw or two in the hidden in the holes. Then the two punches or spanner wrench. Ron

Thanks everyone. More pounding with a punch got it off. I’ve ordered some spare 6pt nuts.

I guess you messed up the drag rings getting them off. I could sure use those for a set of hubs I have.
To remove them properly, use a very small allen wrench in each of the holes on the side. Two or three holes will unthread the allen grub screws out of the middle locking washer, then you can just unscrew the drag nut with a pin spanner or just with your fingers.
More Lock-O-Matics are ruined by not understanding how they function. These hubs are useless without these drag nuts.

Message me your address and I’ll shoot down there. You can see if they are still useable.

Does the outside locking hub say ''lock-o-matic''? If so you must reuse the nut in your photo! this locking nut is specific for your ''lock-o-matic hubs. Regular 31mm lock nuts will NOT work with lock-o-matic hubs. Exactly as Twin 2 said, there are 3 tiny set screws that must be backed out to be able to turn the nut. There are 2 opposing empty holes 180 degrease apart for a spanner tool to turn the nut that do not have the set screws in them.
If you forced the nut off without backing out the set screws most likely you ruined your nut and set screws and the washer behind it. This washer has holes all the way around it so the set screws can be screwed down into them locking the nut.

The Jeep has new Mile Marker hubs. The bottom (inside) of the set screws look good. The heads are unrecognizable. I’ll bet Donny could drill and ez-out the screws if replacement screws are available.
