Dual Motor Winches!

    There`s something downright scary about that.

    Anyone know how much juice that draws?

    That's why they sell a 200A alternator.
    Should be included with every order...

    Looks like you need 3 batteries for one of the dual motor winches.

    • Twin alternators, one for the vehicle and one for the winching batteries (120A Min)
    • Two batteries supplying the winch motors with enough power, and one battery for the vehicle electrics

    Even at 200 amps that only 3.something HP, that's about what my ramsey PTO winch uses but those things are going at least 10 times as fast- they have to be hitting 30 or 40 HP to pull that hard that fast.

    Yeah keep fingers inside vehicle away from winch.. I noticed most of the winches that use dual motors had synthetic rope. There must be a reason for that one.



    Side note:
    I do like how they sell just motors, I wonder if the ox motors they sell are direct fit for the 8274

    dual motor set up has been around for a while . just never watched video of one

    Amazing, but against the US law : the first vehicle was in fact the secret USS MUD SUBMARINE.

    Gigglepin and Bow Motor manufacture upgrades for 8274's, someone makes adapters to install two motors in line, I suppose the ultimate would be Gigglepins' side by side motor top housing with two motors inline on each position, four motors total, you could maim spotters and spectators en mass. (Small nuclear reactor required) LOL
