'71 225 Rt Rear Valve Cover Sticker

    Cleaning the motor I noticed there is residue of a rectangular (nearly square) sticker about 2 x 2 1/2 on the top reward end of the passenger side valve cover. Anyone know what the sticker was?
    There are no other stickers, I can only guess that it was some sort of factory identifier?

    I had the same sticker (not legible) on my right v/c .I left the adhesive on and replaced gaskets and reinstalled. I too was wondering what it was for at the time.Thanks for your research. This was on the REN II. mike
