Spare Tire Carrier/mount

I started to Fab up a spare tire carrier mount. Since I lack any imagination and Fabrication skills I will do what I was taught and just keep it simple.
Two bearings on each end to give it fluid motion. A solid 1 inch rod with a square tube section welded in the center. From here I plan on welding a vertical tube to hold the tire, and then some cross members just to stiffen it up a little. I am at a wedding this weekend so this is as far as I've gotten or will get probably till next week sometime.

 

Well, it should be good for high RPMs....
