   I have what looks to be a Dana 41 with flanged axel shafts. Is this a rare axel or modified? Will try to post pics.

   garage gnome ECJ5 welder

   Late 40's Ford trucks used Dana 41's that had flanged axle shafts. Could be what it is.

   That could be it. It looks to have a 54.25" drum to drum.
