Quitter, But Not By My Choice

The Camp Fire in Paradise (why did they have to name it one of my favorite activities?) ended my '57 CJ5. I needed another jeep that was already built and wouldn't need the intense maintenance since all of my tools are gone. I found this lovingly built '99 TJ on the Oregon Coast. 1K on the new Golen 4.6 Stroker and 100 miles on the tires. 4.88's with Detroit True Tracs front and rear and a new 9000K Warn winch. Lots of other cool stuff too. It is setup just the way I would have done it. He just completed it and his wifes medical cindition forced him to sell.

Sorry about your jeep loss and sorry about the reason the seller had to sell, but stoked that you have that jeep!

 

Anyone had any experience with the Golen engine? It has tons of low end torque. I got a dyno report with it, nearly 230HP with 320 ft lbs torque at 3000 RPM.

That is a good motor, buddy has one and it is a tank!

The one nice thing on the newer jeeps is not having to fabricate all the mods....and sometimes not.
