Thanks jeepstar! With all the plow equipment up front, I didn't see any other way to do it.

Thanks Bob, I'm just tossing ideas around for right now...do you have any pics of how a rear mounted pto set-up sits? This '72 has a rear gas tank, and I'm curious how it would work around that...

Is that because of the gas tank location, or the trans?

Would it need the under seat gas tank to be able to route out the rear?

Fuel tank location and if you have a center rear diff I don’t think it will work. But with a Dana 18 you should be able to if your open to giving up your rear tank.
Keep in mind the emissions guy won’t like it if you have to do emissions
I’m no expert just saying how I understand it. Experts if I’m wrong please enlighten me. Always willing to learn.

Thanks, Cowboy...I registered it up by where my cabin is, just to get away from the emission tests...just put a new gas tank out back, so I might be going electric instead of PTO anyway...still in the planning stages...someone pass me a beer!

There’s some real good electrics out there. Also you can get it with a hitch receiver mount so you could remove if desired.

I've got one of these set-ups out back, so it should be a solid place to start...I do like the idea of making it removable, though...
