I have a bead on a turbo V6 out of a 1979 buick Riviera. Got to buy the whole car for $750 though. From what I have seen on this site and Novak, this engine should be a compatible swap for my F-head. My only question is the turbo gonna cause any issues with the install, or is that just an added bonus. I am looking for more speed and more power than I currently have. I am pretty sure that the T-90 I have will hold up, or should I just swap it out with a T-14 or the SM series.

My buddy has a Turbo V6 in his Flatty with an auto and it is awesome on the trails. Super quiet and he loves it. Not sure about the price and how much more is involved to install but if it was my decision, I'd go for it. But that's me.

Jesse, Actually getting the whole car is a big plus. You get all kinds of "goodies" that you do not think about until you need them as you install the engine in your Jeep. Ask me how I know!! The main minus is the neighbors complaining about your "junk", now if you live in the country, as I do, No Problems Mate. I am not familiar with the turbo'ed V6, but the normally asperated (non-turbo'ed) ones give lots of yank to an old Willys. Good find and Good luck, Matt W.
