I guess I have my own private Jeep club these days:

 

I love your trailer. I have always wanted one like that.

 

I was once told to own a jeep you must have a lot of money. Fireball you must be freakin rich.

 

Not anymore. I have three Jeeps!

 

Not my Jeep but my Dad's Jeep. We visited my parents over the weekend and I took his 225 powered GPW for a ride around the neighborhood:


We pulled the push bar off first.

 

Just got this one 99% done.

 

That is a beautiful Cj2!

 

Wow, what a nice 2A. I always wanted a brand new one, always wondered what it would be like to just sit down in one and drive it off as it rolled off the assembly line.

 

That's what I was going for with this build, a mostly stock CJ2A.

I finally gave the jeep a post Rubicon bath on Friday, with the dents roughly pounded out it doesn't look too bad.
It was 108* outside when I went to irrigate. Maybe this makes me hardcore, most likely its just crazy






I was starting the jeep to head home when something caught my Tahoe's eye...... She immediately was ready for the hunt! I told her that it was too hot out to shoot that boar, even if we just deprivation tagged it. The look of disgust on my dog's face when I let the pig walk away was intense; she moved to the rear of the jeep, laid down and sighed.
This boar has been frequenting my pond and tree wells since the beginning of summer, until Friday I had not seen him. The picture doesn't really do the pig justice, he is a decent size boar in the 175-200LB range. Now that the boar has emerged from his daytime hiding spot, I have a good idea of where his bed is.

Nice combination there, and a chainsaw.. BTW, every time I see those solid steel white wheels the better I like them.

 

Agreed. I'm really happy I swapped out the white spokes for more OEM looking wheels on this Jeep. I just love the look of it.

 

I shut the engine off for the photo. Holley Sniper had the V6 started in about 1 second of cranking. Works just as well with an uphill grade.

 

That looks like a fun wheeling trip!
