Hazel's New (again) CJ-6: Hey Trombetta - Thanks!

Hey all. Been a while.

Yes, that's the same Jeep Steve passed on, I bit on, and the rest is...well, in my garage right now.

To recap:
I came, I bought, I dragged home, I got running driving in stock config, I effed it all up with Rockwells and ripped the stock stuff that ran apart, I let sit, I used the body and not much else and plunked it on top of a Cummins/Ranger OD/SM420/Magnum Box/NP205/Ultimate Dana 60 coilover'd, shortened and bobbed JK frame. You know, that same old story you've probably heard a million times.

 

It came out great. Love that thing. Keep it wheeling and new pictures would be wonderful.

Did Verne break up your pair? lol

 

Well they were under the gun trying to get it ready for UA and time was runnin out. The radiator took up too much space for a normal headlight bucket and I had those laying around so I ran over to my shop (Verne and I are only a couple miles away from each other) and picked them up. Come to think of it, Verne kept the other one so I guess I don't have one just like it after all. We're always swapping parts and helping each other; it all evens out in the end.

Geez, what people can do with these Jeeps is crazy. I have to admit I'm a bit down in the mouth on what I can do after seeing something as awesome as this. I'm such a newb to the 3rd power compared to this build.

Very capable vehicle and somewhat different w/ wood floors and metal inside covering holes............

 

Still an awesome rig.
