Hi Guys just trying to get my 1974 CJ5 to run straight without always having to always correct steering in a ride of death.

Can anyone tell me what the standard (non lifted) castor setting should be. I think it is about 6 degrees positive but not sure.

Also is there a camber and toe in setting?

    Thanks

Page 11-28. Caster (not castor) is set to 3 degrees from the factory. Camber and Toe-In are nearby.

Caster is often set to a higher value in a lifted jeep, ie 4-6 degrees. If you search for "caster" in the archives, you'll find lots of discussion.

6-8 degree is the best....like tim said factory is about 3 inch. Use an angle detector that you put over the upper ball joint nut, this way you will have a good indication about the caster.
