Trans-dapt t-90 adapter ?

Hi everybody. I just bought a t90 to gm adapter that was new in the box, but didn't have any instructions. I was wondering if anyone knew what bearing retainer to use on the adapter. Tried asm420 but bolt pattern is to big. Thanks

 

Most of the adapters used the T-90 bearing retainer.

Can you post a pic? Host on Photobucket or similar and link here. Some used the short input T-90 retainer that bolted to the adapter, some used the long pickup/Wagon T-90 retainer that bolted to the transmission and extended through the adapter, and some adapter kits came with an aluminum "extension" that slid onto the T-90 retainer and was held in place with a set screw. I've seen a very few that used a GM or Ford bearing retainer (depending on application) that bolted to the adapter.

Trans-Dapt part # TD 25-98 is a 2-5/8 thick aluminum adapter that is intended for use with T90-J to GM engines.
It utilizes a GM bearing retainer. GM # 8741458

 

thanks for the help guys. found a front retainer at my parts store thats going to work. I think it is for a m-20 to 22 muncie. I'll have to get my wife to show me how to post pictures.
