Gasket replacement on T14 transmission and Dana 20 TCase. Tools needed? instructions?

    Do I need any special tools to replace the gaskets on my T14 transmission and dana 20 Tcase? Any instructions online? Both are working well but they leak quite a bit.

    The instructions will be very similar as a rebuild, especially on the 20 as the transfer case needs disassembled to replace the gaskets. There are only 3 gaskets on the T-14, front bearing retainer, transfer case gasket, and shifter top gasket so very easy there.
    I'd suggest doing a search here and also acquiring a factory/technical service manual. Invaluable for these type of operations.

    T14s like to leak at the front of the case where the end of the cluster gear shaft is exposed, it can be a little hard to fix because there is no seal on the shaft it is just a press fit in the case, I sealed mine with RTV when I rebuilt it and it lasted a few years before it started to seep again. I have a T5 and dana 300 in mine now.
