Fantastic Rommel!!:tea: Any chance you added the reinforcement ribs on the cj6 specific center floor section of the early cj6 tubs? If you need an old one to copy or pics I can get them for you. Really appreciate all the improvements your doing!

Yes, these tubs are getting better. I used to have no interest in them because of all the horror stories about the fitment and all of the inaccuracies. Nice to see that these issues are being addressed, and apparently, quite well.

One thought for you Rommel: Maybe leave the blank firewall as an option for those who are doing custom work and do not want or need the factory holes punched out. Wouldn't cost you anything extra and would, in fact, save a step or or two in the process.

Keep up the good work, sir.

Your parts are now well known in France, but few CJ5 here. Mostly WWII models.

On your 63/72 dash, as Tonka said, you show holes for screws in the center big hole to hold the cluster, but the cluster is maintened by 4 screws axes fixed /welded from inside.

So there is no 4 small holes around this big hole. We can manage with your 4 holes, position is correct, but the look is better with screws welded inside.

Like Howard and Alan said, the 1955-75 CJ5s speedometer opening had studs welded to the back at four corners. No holes.

Hello everyone , I just got my new tub from DL Bensinger . It is a cj5 early version with welded battery box cover and mirror indent on drivers side cowl , I ordered it in February so I have all the improvments except for the firewall cutouts, it looks very nice and am very happy to have waited so long to get the tub, quality looks very good and I will post pictures this weekend . It had grill rod supports welded on the correct toolbox , flat floor and 3piece trany cover with master cover plate, m38a1 cowl with battery box cover welded and JEEP stamped on the sides , I am restoring my 1960 cj5 .I will make a build Thread when work slows down .
