I'm looking for a part number for a delco Altenator that is a 10SI or 12SI and what amp. it is. I currently have a delco Remy starter and a delco alt. I am wanting to upgrade the Alt. and eventually to an HEI Dist. Thanks in advance

    Not following.

Why not just go into your local FLAPS and ask for one?

Asking the girl behind the counter did not work for me. I think I asked for an alternator for an 85 gmc Sprint. I got a 12si but don't remember the amps. It was plenty for the stock dauntless.

the above looks good - but just to give you another option:
    I used a 3 o'clock position (3 wire 63amp) which worked just fine - ac delco part number 321-39 and NAPA part # 213-4011

I had a 140 amp built at a place here called auto lectrics in Campbell Ca.. Been a while but it was $1 per amp at the time. They will build whatever you want!
