Have a snow plow pump( HY-LO) to go on a 57 cj5. Does the pumps with the pulley on them fit the motors that do not have an oil filter?? Looks like it would fit on there good if it fit where the oil filter is!! If I can get this setup on and going maybe it will never snow again:rofl::rofl: I also have a pump that is fixed to a 6 volt starter motor that looks like it only turns on as you hit the up lever and it grounds the silinoid this could be installed anywhere that way!! Thanks fdpwr2a

Monarch pumps usually have a bracket assy which allows them to mounted piggybacked onto the generator. These are usually the single valved "HY-LO" pumps. My Monarch is a dual valved that allows me to use a 4-way plow and is mounted on the drivers side, using the front two heads bolts to secure the bracket. The 6volt pump is probably a Meyer, made to mount outside the vehicle on the plow lift assy.

The Monarch HY-LO pump mounting kit included a bracket that was used to relocate the oil filter to the left side of the engine. Not sure about the other [electrical] pump that you mentioned.

Monarch and others also made an electric over hydraulic unit that had its own reservoir. It could be mounted anywhere.

Here is my set up. The original one died on me last year so had to replace. I could use the old bracket and just added the front mount. IMG_1362.JPG
