Just received these today to replace the extremely stiff rough country springs the PO had installed. I'm not too happy with the alignment of the leaves on one of the front and one of the rear springs. BDS tech support says they'll straighten out once installed with weight on them. Spring clamps appear correct and no visible shipping damage. Heres a couple of pictures and I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks

Tap them back in to place with a hammer. Once installed and the u bolts are tight, it'll be difficult to get them to move.

Hammering and clamping doesn't seem to work. They spring right back. Guess I should try loosening the clamps and center bolt.

I've had no issues with my 2.5" BDS full suspension lift kit (with shocks)
Odd to see your pics of the leafs like that, mine were fine.
They do have the life warranty.

Well even after loosening the clamps and center pin, I haven't been able to line them up. It appears that both spring sets have one laterally curved leaf. I'm a little dissapointed in the QC at BDS.

I ordered and installed mine about a month ago and I noticed some leaf alignment issues but not that far out. Regardless they do feel and ride great.

Well it looks like BDS came through, received this email today:

    Hello Scott,

Thank you for the photos. These springs definitely do not live up to our quality standards. We are shipping two replacements today. They will be inspected before they leave to ensure they meet standards.

I installed BDS on my 75. 3 years later I broke a leaf. Called BDS, they shipped a spring pack to the dealer. I took the old in and walked out with new. No receipt or anything. Just a phone call

That is debatable. I am looking at converting to YJ springs cause I am tired of the lumber wagon ride.
