'57 CJ5: Updating The Old School

Any updates? This is a pretty sweet little rig. I'd love to see more

 

I was able to get some more work done, just got burnt out just hashing away.

The MotorCraft 2100 seemed to get the job done, but needs a little more jet to richen it up. I'd like to build an exhaust for it since the side-exits are loud. 90% done with the floor.


Unfortunately I have project ADD, and I found a parts flatfender and a hankering for a hot rod. (plan is 440/727 to a Ford 9in and suicide front end)

 

I did the opposite... I had a parts flatty and dumped it when I found the A1... Good to see you're still around

 

Yeah I'm around, actually the first time I've been on the site in a while. I hope to get the jeep rod rolling and then jump back on this jeep to do a moab run. Problem is, I know more now and I want to build a new frame and maybe go with an SBC since the dauntless isn't at 100%.

 

Sometimes it's hard to just say, this is good enough. I've always been tempted to stretch mine to CJ7 length... Meiser frame and stuff...
