towing with an f-head?

    i have a f head 134 motor that doesn't run.i don't know if i want to keep it or upgrade to a v6 dauntless. i want to know if the f head is strong enough to tow a small boat and trailer that weighs about 700 pounds.

    I have a 134 and it will tow that but not anything over 1,000 lbs. Pulling it out of the water will be easy in 4WD low. I would upgrade if the 134 had to have alot of money spent on it.

    Depends on how far and how fast. Certainly the F134 Jeep is capable of moving the trailer. 700# is not much more than 3 adult passengers.

    I would worry about the stock 9" brakes.
