    Yes and No.
The original points and condensers are separate parts.
And all 3 Dauntless versions of the DR distributors used DR points and condensers. DR 1110322, DR1110342, DR1110376.
All DR distributors used D106P contact sets.
That said I find the Blue Streak DR2270 XP to be of the possibly a higher quality.[IMG]

With these you use a DR condenser # D203 or D204.
The correct condenser depends on which model distributor you have. The only difference being the length of wire. Or use the Blue Streak DR70X condenser.[IMG]

In place of points alone one can install the Blue Streak points and condenser set DR-3575CX.
    As seen here:[IMG]
I have some NOS DR condensers I can sell if your interested I’ll post them in the FS column.

I bought Blue Streak points and condenser in one units from Orielly’s. I’ll check my receipt stash to see if I have a part number.

Thank you much, i may take you up on that. For now though, i will buy the blue strwak DR3575c set from my FLAPS on the way home from work. I really want to hear the motor run before i make any decisions as to project direction.

For what its worth...I've run the AC Delco D106P or D106PS in all of my Delco distributors over the last 40 + years at one time or another. They are the same as listed for a small block Chevy 350. The difference between the two is the D106P has a spring to hold the wire on and the D106PS has a screw to hold the wire on.
I've used them on 1966 thru 1970 engines.

The set that is all one unit used to referred to as uni-points, even in some parts books. Not sure if they still are.

Looks like poor contact alignment on the old points.

Do you have a meter that can read capacitors? Though with both of them looking like that I’d say it’s probably part of the manufacturing process.

Yea, it must be a manufacturing thing of it was like that out of the box then x2.

So, the AC distributor has the dwell adjustment window and the Prestolite does not, correct?
