Bellhousing Ball Bearing

Hey guys, I am a newbie to the Jeep and automotive scene, so please don’t roast me to hard.

I was pulling the bellhousing off of my 258 off of a 73 CJ5 today, and when I started cracking it off a ball bearing fell out. I have a feeling it has somthing to do with the connectors between the clutch and clutch pedal, but I have no idea.

Its probably the pivot ball for the clutch release arm.

Is it about 1/2 inch in diameter?
