I have a '67 CJ5 with a dauntless, 4 speed, 4.88, overdrive, pto winch, good condition, everything works. It's located in Lake Havasu, AZ where I'll be Friday for a week or so and I can post some pics then.

It's time to move on to something more modern for the reason for the sale. I'll also will have a 2006 Jeep LJ Rubicon for sale.

Just looking for some numbers that you guys might think it is worth, then I'll post it for sale on the site. The jeep made the calendar a few years back.

    Thanks, Steve

Nobody can tell you what it is worth with the information provided, and even with more information, and pictures folks on the forum can only make guesses. Too many variables.

"Good condition" doesn't always mean the same thing to more than one person. Prices vary depending on what old Jeeps are going for in a particular area.

Look for comparables on f-book, craigslist, Hemmings, etc.

Once you form an idea of worth, price it a bit over that, say price is negotiable, and see what happens. It is a lot easier to go down in price than it is to go up, and some folks won't buy unless they can haggle you down, makes them feel savvy.

You're in Fallbrook?East side of Camp P? Are you going to bring it home? IMHO, a CA Jeep is worth more, but takes more time to sell, than an AZ Jeep.
There are so many variables. For me, rust is a big issue. I'll pay a premium for a Jeep with little to no rust. And drive-ability aka reliability. If you can give an idea how far you'd feel comfortable driving it... When I see an ad that says something like "come take a look and drive it home" that piques my interest.
Just remember, there are buttloads of tire kickers, and it can be hard to discern between them and serious buyers. My question was "What's your experience with Willys?" Not "Jeeps". That separated the wheat from the chaff for me.

Good insights so far. What people want to sell an old JEEP for, and what they actually sell for are often two different things. I’m not too far from you and I follow the market as best I can. There are guys who think because it’s old, or “vintage” it’s some how automatically a collector vehicle worth a ton of cash. There’s decent, but not perfect cj5’s, early and late models out there, with an asking price of over 25k that have been on the market for over a year. Think about how serious your are about actually selling the thing.

A good condition JEEP with no rust, a truck wide-ratio 4 speed, and well done power steering is worth more to a guy like me. I see nothing special, 3 speed “restored” 4 banger Jeeps for over 15k asking. ..Too much time/work to convert everything . I want to go four wheeling, and I want decent power and low gears.

From the sounds of it, your rig has some things going for it. So if clean and rust free, I will say between $7-11k will probably get your Jeep sold on Craigslist if you find the right person…if it’s exceptional maybe a little more. If the specs in your profile are correct, right away there’s stuff I’d want to upgrade (more work and $$$), which would affect my buying potential : (Disk brakes, Saginaw power steering Dana 30, selectable lockers, etc, etc). Of course some folks are enticed by other things: nice wheels, big tires and shiny paint. Jeep enthusiasts however, are often looking around with something in mind….We’re trying to figure out what’s added value for what we want to accomplish as a project.

I could bring it home if needed, I live in southeast Fallbrook. The jeep is pretty much rust free, saginaw power steering and lockers.

Value of anything depends on many things, Location=large variations in price between different states. Condition=completeness, rust, specific model CJ5/6, originality, Modifications, if any=lift kits, Saginaw PS, power brakes, granny low 4 speeds, disk brakes=front only/front and rear. upgrade axles=44/60/14bolt/Rockwells, lockers=autpmatic/electric/air, options=hard top, soft top, no top, bikini top, Build type=off road driver/pavement pounder/mall crawler/restomod/showcar/museum quality.
Buyers motivation=expected use, desire, and budget, Sellers motivation=fire sale, testing the waters, looking for something else, tired of, looking to make a profit And last but not least, the quality of work/materials that went into the Jeep i; e: looks like it was painted with a mop, and shined with a greasy brick OR paint like a mirror and looks 2 feet deep. Welds that look like they were performed by a cluster of grapes welding academy graduate or a stack of dimes, suspension or brake work that you wouldn't get out of an electric chair to ride in, or something that looks factory installed. A lot to consider, in the final analysis the decision is yours. educate yourself, here, other web sites, monthly publications, books, local Jeep owners and/or clubs. Lots to think about. Good luck!
Note: After owning almost two dozen Jeeps from 1955 CJ5's to 2006 LJ Rubicon, the V6 CJ's are still my favorite, they have the most character, are the easiest to work on, and are fun to drive.
