I'd give 'em 2 thumbs up.

I've said it before here, looking at other BDS lifts and then the 4WDH lifts, I'm almost certain they're the same thing.

So far I've installed one and helped install another and was very impressed with them.

A friend of mine put a 4WD 4" lift on his YJ. Within three months, he had to add a leaf and get them rearched. They sagged quickly and badly.

I did Skyjacker soft ride 2.5" lift and it was noticeably better but as many have said, you can't overcome the short wheel base. A drastic change would be convert to coilover suspension up front, but that's Frankenjeep territory.

My dad has Ranchos on his 3b and they're stiff.

I have sway bars on my jeep that helps alot but i thought of making the rear springs outboard. I run the hardtop year round. Maybe not worth the work but I dont think it could make it any worse.

I have Rancho 1" lift, my wife won't get in my Jeep. Grand Kids love it, Peggy, Dog don't care either. I am thinking BDS next.

One of the best brands for vintage Jeeps. The BDS 2.5”.
Just double check when ordering that you have the correct U-bolts. There’s been a few on here who had the incorrect ones shipped. I’ve had mine now for 7 years.
no sagging, no issues with bushings, shocks are perfect.

I second that opinion. I have the same lift kit. Seems to be as good as it gets for these old heeps. Although I hear good things about Old Man Emu suspensions. But you’ll have to open your wallet nice and wide for that setup

That is a big fat no here! Their geometry and shakle placement is all wrong.

You’re better off ordering springs and shackle hangers and doing your own. RuffStuff makes nice brackets.

This is what I did, after Kyle showed how messed up the RR kit was. I had done the kit over 4 years ago, but my cj6 was not on the road. Because of his thread I fixed mine, I used Ruff Stuff hangers and shakles.
