As Chugalug recently posted, funny how these engines are always "from a Corvette."

Never from a bread van, like mine.

There must have been a zillion wrecked 'vettes back in the 60's....

Ya, I’m calling BS I’m pretty sure that a 350 wasn’t an engine option in a 68 Vet and the cylinder heads have accessory holes definitely not 68. 68 Corvette sounds a lot better than a 305 out of a 78 Nova

The 350 was probably transplanted into that '68 at some point in the past then plucked out and placed in that M38A1. The 350 did not show up in Corvettes until 1969. A lot of stuff can happen in 50+ years...

I test drove 1963 rusty Carryall with a 327 once in high school. It wasn't fast.
This wasn't it, but the 327 story brings back an image like this one to me.

Engine displacement is just the start of understanding it's performance potential.
For a seller to claim the engine is high performance, he better have documentation that proves it. Otherwise, he's probably being deceptive.

I get all that, but I don't see block numbers or anything to guess where it's from, at least from my side of the screen. It's a nice looking jeep, and a good price too.
