I’ve been #1 on the list for those mounts since late January, but the seller is MIA. He was getting me a shipping estimate, but never replied again. He had another item where he replied a couple times, but never got a shipping either. The last contact with him was about 3 weeks back.

I have a 70 Jeepster in the woods up north and I think the motor mounts towers are still in it but I won't be up there for a few weeks. I'll check/cut them out when I'm there. Even if you find a set before then it's not a bad idea to have a set on the shelf.

I probably have some on a frame I won't be using - should be able to look in a day or two as well.

I copied this on my 4.3 (had to work around plow brackets) anyway it doesn't work great because the doughnuts are intended for a vertical load and they don't do well with side loads. You get that chatter in reverse because you don't have a stay cable and also the bolts should have a sholder which sets the preload on the rubber. If your mount is different either your motor can wiggle around or its basically solid.

You are saying your home made brackets you made similar to these don't work on your 4.3?

Not sure that would apply to my 225. I should hope These work!

I guess It's hard to explain....
There is no advantage in the doughnut mount over a hockey puck. The engine weights too much.

Go with the stock frame horns.

Pics of the two sets I have - grafts are of various 'quality' as are the mounts.

PM me and we can chat on options - I've not thought through if I'm getting rid of both or one set yet.

They have been cut out already and not by me, so I don't have any.
