Looking to put a synthetic winch line on my 8274. Where can I find a 150ft line for it with a long outer sheath?

FYI, when you are shopping for your rope to go on an 8274 you do not need the high temp rated rope as there is no brake inside the drum creating heat to break down the rope. Also, a good sleeve is easily found wherever you purchase welding supplies in the form of a TIG torch cable sleeve.

Hydraulic hose sheathing works well for this too.

Both the American websites say they will do custom orders, maybe call them? I don't know what else would work.

And is far heavier and much more dangerous when it breaks. It can also get kinked and twisted drastically reducing it's strength. There are valid reasons to like both.

Over several decades, I never experienced either of those, and I use steel cables and PTO winches a lot.

Personally, I've never seen synthetic used in any serious commercial/industrial application. But I expect I'll be corrected on that observation.

I have been wheeling with people that have synthetic line. It's so nice to work with.

I watch Matts off road recovery on youtube fairly often. He does a lot of questionable & unsafe things, but he only uses synthetic on his winches for safety.

You could buy a winch with the rope for that price.
