What Did You Do To Your Jeep Today?

My cj6 is wearing a pair of shoes exactly like that Wild Country. Not from the 80's though

 

Took the 64 USMC M38A1 to the Denton MV show.
Had a blast driving it around the show talking to people and taking in the sights.
Had so much fun in fact I forgot to take pictures. Had to have my friends send the pictures to me. Jeep ran great, a little cold natured, but what a blast!

Had such a great time, I forgot to take pictures. Next show I will remember to take some. My friends who went with us and carried the Jeep sent me the pictures.
I still have to put the 1st Hospital Decals and the front plate like were on my Dad's in Vietnam.

For the past few years I have had my high lift jack mounted on the hood hinges


But I want to be able to put my windshield down flat for flat towing.

I have a little space on the spare tire carrier on the passenger side (this is an older picture):


So I bought a jack mount designed for JK's & JL's. I welded up a bracket with some 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/8" angle and attached it to the tire carrier:


Painted it and re-assembled everything. Now I can lay the windshield down andI can remove the high-lift without breaking my back.

It’s not a stock color. Cynthia picked it out from an EBay store.

Looking back in my pictures I see that it took just over 3weeks from the time I started sanding to paint today.

 

.......Pritinear the same color as Grant's , too. Looks Nice.....Real Nice

 

Added a rear brake line valve/lock.

 

Total frame and underbody restoration.



In under 10 minutes.

 

.......Teeming rain here , so's it's a good time for this Kid to go in.
& while I'm at it.........After a 2 year wait , I can R & R my TB, too. Can any one tell the Difference ? ( Hint : I'll be able to go a Lot faster , now )

Yes Sir....... Ported for better air induction on her 231 Turbo V6. It should be my final step in the overall tune .
