I'm new to this setup. This monarch plow pump has 2 hydraulic ports. The one facing the front of the Jeep is marked "cyl". The other one towards the rear has no markings that I can find. Which port goes to the top of the cylinder? Bottom? Also which one should have the larger diameter hose? Thanks

the lift cyl has two ports? Some just rely on the weight to lower the blade(single acting cyl. Does this pump have a integral resevoir or is it mounted seperatly(sp)?

Yes the pump and reservoir are in the same unit. The control valve on top has a lever that can be pushed either forward or pulled rearward the hyd ports are on these two sides(front and back). I would just try it out but am afraid Ill break something.

Yes the cylinder has two ports one near the top and one near the bottom. I bought it with the hoses attached. The larger diameter hose is on the bottom.
