Anyone ever use a Condensator?

I keep hearing ads for this thing on the radio, with people talking about how much more power and milage they're getting...

Looks to me like it's not much more than a filter for your PCV system. While I'm sure filtering your crankcase fumes is a good thing, I just don't see how you'd get a major jump in either power or milage. I'd bet the power increase is almost all a placebo effect...I notice they don't publish any dyno results on their page. As for milage gains, they report a couple MPG up to double digit increases.
I'm just curious since I keep hearing ads for it...anyone here try one? Seems to me like it's not entirely snake oil, since it does serve a function but I just don't see how it could do everything they claim.

 

I agree it's snake oil. The purpose of the pcv system is to do what this device claims to do. It goes inline with the pcv line and as far as I can see it does nothing.

 

IF those things worked as well as the sellers claim, they would be factory.
