CJ-6 Dually

    Yes, I know. Have owned about 12 of them and used them from Colorado to Hawaii to Texas and New Mexico. Was refering to the marks as being high in the wheel well so they may have decided the needed the extra lift, especially with the heavy water tank.

    The straps and rear spring packs are pretty much duplicates of mine; like they were in a two JEEP assembly line. :) And I've never seen that on another JEEP. Btw, back in the 60's firefighting apparatus companies commonly provided conversion instructions with their kits for fire departments to convert stock CJ5's and CJ6's.

    Yes, have seen kits also, but none included the Dana 70 dually axle. Just flanges to adapt a dully to the existing rear axle.
