It dosnt wobble like a death wobble or anything. The bushings in the front shackles are shot. So when she steers the axle wants to move a little causing it to wonder. Once she puts on the lift springs shes planning on that will fix the bushing problem. Other than that it drives comparable to most all other older jeeps I've driven. I wish the tranny would have popped out for me but just couldnt get it to. Tried going over bumps while acclerating/decelarating, getting on and off the gas kinda hard and just normal driving. But it just wouldnt pop out. Im wondering Shannon if you just werent getting it completly engaged and it would pop out when you hit a bump :?

I should say you scared the bajibees out of me when you were driving!!!!R) Maybe I was driving it wrong,im am so use to driving a TJ  that its going to take some getting use too.

Yeah, the wobble thing is not as bad as I thought being that Jason somehow kept it between the ditches on a rural road:? So I guess its just me.

Didnt mean to scare you, but said to keep it under 30 and well the needle never got any higher than 30 so I thought I was good :D You need to get that thing out to a smoother road and drive it some more and just get use to it. Its def. going to drive different than your TJ does. If you dont get use to it let me know how much want for it R)

Ok up date on this story

I went down to her house today and took the top off the tranny after a little fiberglass fab work. I didnt have alot of time after I got the shift cover off. But heres what I could see right off ,
1:gear oil low and had a little water in it , but all parts were coated in gear oil
2:Gears and synchros looks fair to good no obvious damage , the worst was 3rds "locking teeth"
3:no up and down play in any thing but the synchros
4:end play in the gears and synchros seemed a little much(with out tools and time I guesstimated 1/16th-1/8th")
5: shift tower is tight and forks and rails in great condition

Im thinking about draining the oil , putting in fresh oil and seeing what she does.
